How many hours do you average a night?
Having morning goals (especially since I've been reading Miracle Morning) has always been something I LOVE!
Getting up early 🌝🌞
Getting work done 🏃🏻🏃🏻
And setting the tone for the day.....
There's no better feeling of accomplishment for me.
But there are those times when it's truly important to listen to your body on a deeper level. Sometimes what you need (and what a lot of us lack) is MORE SLEEP!! Proper sleep can help:
**help your body shed more fat by functioning properly
**reduces the amount of stress hormones (like cortisol) in your body that cause weight gain and regulates your other hormones (like insulin) that help your body lose weight
**help you reduce cravings by rescuing the amount of leptin and ghrelin (which help to trigger how hungry you are)
**helps your body build proper muscle and give you energy for your workout (which are the sworn enemies of fat!) So before you think it wise to keep staying up late with your desire to hit all your health goals, consider how much sleep you get. Listen to your body and one those certain days your bed is calling for that extra hour, follow it!
Sleep is indeed good!!
