when the snooze button is not an option.
Who else needs camp vibes any time soon?
It's always nice to take the roads less traveled. It opens up doors to different views with little to no crowds.
Still waiting for summer. Shot from early 2016.

I've been to Yosemite dozens of times since the last 2 years but I've never seen it so snow packed like it is this winter. Recent storms have brought some serious snow in the mountains. Sadly, a semi had an accident which blocked both lanes (he had no cargo which could've helped him for traction) and around 10:30 am we were told it was going to take a few hours for the tow to get into the valley from the Stockton area. We went back into Groveland to get some coffee and wait it out and about 1 pm we decided to go back and asked the park ranger in the fee area if the accident had cleared to by which he responded that the tow hasn't even passed by. At that point we just waited and it wasn't until 3 pm when the tow showed up and decided to park right after the fee area (maybe to talk to rangers about the semi). We decided to just go back home and come back some other time since it was gonna be probably dark by the time the lanes were cleared from the accident. Thankfully we have Yosemite just under 3 hours away. Keep in mind folks, things like these can happen at any time. Always be prepared! Cheers! ✌🏼
